I was a disappointed when I received this book. I thought the bundt recipes would be from scratch. You use a cake mix in the majority of the recipes and the recipes are not that much different from other books I have that use cake mixes. Bonkers for Bundt Cakes is just the ticket for busy women. Quick and easy recipes that don't require long preparation. Large type and generous spacing that make it easy to follow the instructions. This isn't Julia Child but the recipes are good!
While the recipes aren't bad, the construction and layout of this book look comparable to something a child would make on his or her computer. This is one of the most boring and uncreative cookbooks I've come across in a long time. The quality is definitely lacking.
If you love bundt cakes, this is the book.
It will make a great gift -- along with a cake -- for the holidays.
I enjoy its short history and the variety of choices. The cake is great with a bit of whipped cream and fruit for a make-ahead company desert.
