I really enjoyed this book, but; you left me hanging!
I love this book!! It started slow, but wow after a few chapters, like wow!! Can't wait for book two of story of Mara and Lucien!!
This is a well written story. the author expertly draw you into the story and keeps you there. The ending was a total surprise. Can't wait to read the next novel
My heart is racing as I finish this book. I found it to be so different from other books I have read. It kept me going to the next page to see where it was taking me. Well worth your time to explore a whole different realm .
Not very well written but had a good story line.. Will buy the next book when it comes out
I found this story to be very "spellbinding". It's a different slant on the paranormal world. The characters are feel fully developed, with a depth that's missing in many stories. I want to know how to be notified when the next book comes out.
I liked the book well enough, but I have to agree with the other reviewers. The characters needed to be fleshed out more and Mara was extremely naive and juvenile. She was just a strange heroine. It was a rather abrupt ending and the romance wasn't what I'd hoped. However, the concept was unique and I wasn't expecting how the start of the story unraveled. Three glittery stars.
The story could have been decent but the writing was poor and so it wasn't. The heroine thoughts were too many and childish to the point they were painful. Especially in the first half of the book it was like reading the diary of a 13 year old girl. The diary of a girl who experiences her first crush (not on the hero) and then later on has smex for the first time with the hero. After they have smex of course who she thinks that she loves even though they have limited contact and hardly know each other. The hero was not fleshed out and the story ended on a cliffhanger. Will not be reading the second book in the series.
